I will show you in this tutorial how to get your Ip configurations using the command prompt-you cannot get your ip configuration without using command prompt in windows.
So to open your command prompt press the start button(one with windows logo on it)+R and now your command prompt window will open up.
Here’s the trick to make a shortcut for your command prompt on your desktop
Right click on any area on your desktop
Select the new option and from the list that open up upon hovering over the new option select the new shortcut option.
Now a new window will open up with the browse option in it.
In this window type cmd and hit next-you will see that you command prompt shortcut is made.
Now we are going to customize the command prompt window.
click on the black icon on the top left handside of the cmd window-go to the properties and you will get a bunch of options.
In here you can customize the way you want.

In the cmd window type- ipconfig /all
You will get athe complete list of devices that you are having and which on you are using currently to connect to the internet.
Now what if you wanted to copy stuff in this command prompt to somewhere like a email,forum etc
Click on the cmd icon again and click on the edit option-In here you can either select all the contents in the command prompt window or you can select the mark option and select what ever you want to copy-then go to top icon again,click on it and under edit options select copy.
Now open the notepad and select edit tab and select paste.
