Like windows xp and vista windows 7 too has a magnifier but this one is much better as it enables you to magnify the whole screen and not just a part of it.

So to start your magnifier press start(windows logo) and the plus button at the samet time and your magnifier will start or just type magnifier in your your start search box.
Now the magnifier will pop up
Now as you move your mouse the magnifier will follow you
Now if you want to magnify any portion of you widnow you can select the lens or the docked or lense option from the options
You can also increase the number of times your windows are magnified.
Using the docked feature only magnifies only a certain portion of your screen-this is same as was in windows xp and vista
