As i have talked about blogging as one most significant twists in the history of the internet, here i give main emhasise to how bloggers can save this world.
look at this kid and think !!
As the time is passing more and more folks are opting to reading online journals and magazines instead of purchasing a bundles of paper every month and in the getting rid of it by giving it for recycling, unless they are some royal person or do not have access to the internet.
Now it is more feasible for people or organisations with limited money and resources to make it big and do it more consistently then it was earlier. And i have talked earlier about the people making the most out fo their blogs-if you’ve not read it you can take some inspiration here.
Charity and Bloggers
Anyone who starts blogging sooner the credit for his/her hard work, and public starts searching for something inspirational and innovative in their writings. And one way to do this is by offering a small column of your blog to a charity and if possible a charity that needs exposure.
As i have said above, today blogging has a vast number of audience and every blog has some dedicated readers and as these readers notice your good work and see that you’re doing charity they start doin it themselves and may even donate a small sum to the charity that you are supporting. But in long run it is going to make a difference.
Many well known bloggers have been doing this for a long time and some have started doing it recently.
Charitable Search Engines
These search engines are identical to the normal search engines except that they the revenue generated in an interval is sent to charity.
They are most of the times backed up by the normal search engine giants such as-Google,Yahoo and who can forget what Bill Gates the Microsoft Owner who has almost left his office and is mostly involved in the charity.
Bill Gates recently donated a huge some of money for the polio eradication in Asia.
While most of the charitable search engines give the whole of the revenue generated to the charity ,some of them keep a small sum as the operating cost-and this money is also given to people for whom a online balloting is done
Blogging specifically for charity
Though charity is considered as passion by some but it needs a lot effort and commitment.
Thanks to the specific niche organisations that bloggers can write specifically on one topic and make the world aware about the needs of the people in the opposite or may be even in their own region.
Some of the specific niches are:-
• Religious institutions
• Medical research
• Poverty alleviation
• Volunteers and physical manpower
• Crisis and emergency relief funds
• Human rights
Online Donations
As i have mentioned above that many of the well known bloggers have started doing charity whether it may ba for their fame or or for the sole purpose of doing some good it only gives benefits, one cosiderable example is the tax rebate.
Doing charity through your blog is more easy and convenient as it requires less physical effort and now the online money transfer systems have become very reliable and convenient.
Corporate Social Responsibility
As they say, the Internet is serious business. Most companies operate some or other form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Be it annual profit sharing or support in the local community by volunteer staff members, modern companies approach day-to-day business with development in mind and normally have a section of their website set aside for their charitable endeavours. The power and impact that comes with these corporations can have a tremendous positive influence in the world. It is well known that internet has huge rea chout and most big guns are using this market very efficiently. One reason behind this is that most of them have a portion of their website dedicated to charity, and if so is not the case then they keep on offering special offers for the charitable organisations so that they can afford to provide their inmates the best lifestyle possible.
Worldwide Blogger Bake Off
The Worldwide Blogger Bake Off is a stark example of how bloggers can save the world. An initiative from Breadline Africa, an online non-profit organisation, the campaign appeals to bloggers to challenge each other for the good of poverty alleviation in southern Africa.
you should try this!!
Invited to “Bake Break – Give Dough”, it’s up to the bloggers to get their hands dirty in the kitchen, share their baking experiences, donate to the cause and coax others to do the same.
Be it a foccacia or a flop, the symbol of bread is used to send a global distress signal and raise US$1 million – and the media players, authority figures and taste creators have the power to answer the call.
And for you all to know i am not just talking just like that ,you’re soon going to see a column of this blog being dedicated to one of my local charity.
So wake up bloggers and instead of having a coffee make some effort to support our mates who are in need.
